Yes. You get 7 days to explore the system with all its functionality. There is no credit card required - or any other strings attached. After the trial period, you are simply no longer able to publish events. Costs only arise when you explicitly book a paid plan.

You can cancel your plan at any time. You can do this within the app in your plan settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the respective billing period.

There is no general refund option. Please explore the application before you book a plan and use the free trial period to validate whether the tools work for you. In case there are any technical issues that could not be foreseen, please contact us and we find a way. If an SLA is part of your plan, a specific refund logic becomes active. Please see our terms of service for more details.

You can delete your account directly within the app at the user settings. Mind that deleting your account is not possible, if there is an active subscription or if there are other users, but none with admin rights, within your organization.

If your are only looking for a simple Add to Calendar Button and are technically experienced, you should check the open source option. It can be used free of charge under its license terms! However, those scripts come with downsides by design. For example, in some cases (device, OS, browser), the dynamic generation of ics files is not supported. Additionally, you need to deal with source code for every change. If you require full stability and ideal compatibility; if you want to edit settings without touching source code; if you want to use an RSVP feature (especially with GDPR-required Double-Opt-In); if this functionality is essential to your business and therefore first-row support has an impact; if you want to share events via links, on Social Media, or via email - you benefit from our managed PRO solution.

We are very similar when it comes to the core functionality. Where we set us apart is the nature of our product. We are open source born and live transparency. Our technology is actively used by millions of users world-wide. And those numbers are not made up for marketing purposes. You can validate them (e.g. by clicking them on the home page). The open source background also connects us with a big community, that points out issues early and helps us to improve. We are also not located in some random country you never heard of. We are based in Germany and need to deal with the maybe most strict supervision world-wide. Last but not least, our pricing is extremely fair. You do not need to constantly count some made up limiting numbers. You are basically only limited by the events you actively set up. No worries about things you can hardly influence like people signing up for your RSVP.

Absolutely. We work "privacy first". Checkout the "Data Privacy" page for more details and the "Privacy Policy" if you want to dig into the legal stuff.

Please have a look at our documentation. We cover all modern frontend stacks. The only hard requirement, if you want to include our solution in your application or website, is the support of JavaScript and our data CDN not being blocked by your infrastructure. If you are missing something, please let us know. We are happy to help and extend.

Yes, you can. However, mind that you would import the pro version differently than the default button. Our documentation holds all information and guides.

Yes and that's a big plus regarding our solution. You can use the default RSVP or add any field you want. It will be collected and is also part of any reporting.

Yes. RSVP results can be viewed via the respective link at the connected event. There, you can also download the results as csv or json file.

Yes. Every event holds a list of stuff that you can use to share your event. This includes links and graphics you can include into emails. Mind the general limitations pointed with those functionalities.

That is also a huge benefit of our solution. You can customize the hell out of it. Most of it directly within the application in a "no-code" manner. If that is not enough, we no only offer a simple API, but also the option to programmatically trigger our button, which enables you to basically include the functionality of our tools into your own UI.

This is possible for all enterprise plan users. We do not host any domains, but you can connect your existing domain, which is then used for any landingpage or event links. You can also setup a distinctive email address, which is used as the FROM address at any email sent to your users. Mind that the setup of this is a partly manual process and requires you to contact us. Setup usually takes 2 business days.

You can customize every email that gets sent to your users from our system. This includes texts as well as changing colors and font. You can also add your logo, of course.

Webhooks are useful to tell other systems about any changes. For example, when a user signs up for an RSVP, you can push this data additionally to a CRM system or another reporting tool of yours.

Our API enables you to programmatically create new events or list RSVP answers. A popular case is to take a user's data at the checkout, dynamically create a new individual event for this user and immediately include a respective Add to Calendar Button with an additional CTA at the thank you page; as well as use the generated ics file to include in the order confirmation email.

This is possible. However, it requires you to have a respective calendar set up somewhere else - like Google or Microsoft 365. You can connect this calendar to an event group. This creates a subscription event, with its own Add to Calendar Button, option for CTA, RSVP, and more.

An event can consist of as many dates you need. This comes in helpful if your event consists of multiple parts (like a 3-day workshop).

Recurring events can be easily set up with our guided process at the event creation - or as RRULE, if your are familiar with it.

Multi-date events are thought for events that consist of multiple parts. Usually, you do not have more than 2-5 dates per event. Those dates also do not necessarily follow any specific time pattern. Recurring events follow a specific pattern. For example, a townhall meeting every Monday at 10am.

When you update an event, connected buttons start to deliver the updated version from this time on. Mind that this does not automatically inform users about the update, as we do not have information about all those users. For the RSVP, it behaves a little differently, as we know who signed up. You can opt-in to send an update to those users with the changed event. Mind that if users save the changed event, it does not necessarily overwrite the old one. This only works for the ics file and only if the organizer, attendee (automatically set in the RSVP case), and status are set.

Definitely. You can create a whole team of collaborators at no additional costs!

There is no limitation. You can invite as many people as you want. There are also no additional costs for this.

We keep this as simple as possible. All differences are visible directly from the pricing table. Besides some technical limitations, the main difference is the number of events you can create per month. Besides that, the billing period differs based on your selection.

This refers to a limitation on how many events you can create per month. Mind that this is only about new ones. So, even with the Hobby plan, you can create 5 per month, every month; and would have 60 after one year. There is one specialty about working with our API. For every 5 update to an event (or group), we count this as 1 new event. This is to prevent abuse.

If you need more events per month, you can opt-in to the auto-scale option with some plans. This is helpful, if your are generating 1 event per customer, for example. To not get blocked, this option would automatically extend your plan, when you exceed the included events. It would then buy additional events for every event you create on top. This is billed on a monthly basis.
